ASTANA. January, 20. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Receiving applications for participation in the State Program of Housing Development is expected to be held from January, 28 in Astana. Director of Astana Housing Department Yerkebulat Kabeldin informed of it at the meeting in ?Zhastar? Youth Palace, Kazinform reports.

As Y. Kabeldin said ?construction of over 12 000 apartments is underway in the context of the State Program for 2008-2010. 5 612 apartments will be built on the left side of the Tlendiyev avenue with the total area 277.7 thousand sq m. Over 30 000 people are expected to take part in purchasing of affordable housing?. ?This year, according to the KZ Government?s resolution #711 as of July, 19, 2008 the cost of apartments will amount to USD 470 for a square meter and the area of which will not exceed 80 sq m. The minimum cost of one-room flat (40 sq m) amounts to KZT 37 678, for two-room flat (60 sq. m.) is KZT 56 515 and for three-room flat (80 sq. m.) ? KZT 75 354. In addition, there may be two co-borrowers?, he added. The priority categories of people participating in the State Program are young families with children and where the two spouses? ages are under 29, public servants, employees of state agencies that are not public servants and employees of state- owned enterprises.
