Reception on 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence held in Minsk
Representatives of the Belarusian President's Administration, Government, deputies of the two chambers, top officials of the foreign ministry, a number of ministries and departments, representatives of the diplomatic corps, international organizations, business and academic circles, mass media, public, Kazakh Diaspora, veterans and Kazakh students, who study in Belarus took part in the event.
Analyzing Kazakhstan's development path over 20 years, Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Anatoly Smirnov noted that over this period Kazakhstan was able to solve key issues connected with conducting political and economic reforms, achieve significant success in building a democratic state with market economy.
Vice Prime Minister of Belarus Valery Ivanov noted the growing rate of development of bilateral relations of the two countries.
