Reciprocal protection of investments bill between Kazakhstan and Romania ratified

ASTANA. June 27. KAZINFORM The bill "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Romania on the encouragement and reciprocal protection of investments" has been passed by the plenary session of the Kazakh Senate today.

The agreement provides that each contracting party ensures the stimulation of investments of the other contracting party in its territory and recognizes such investments in line with the national legislation.

In general, the agreement envisages the improvement of investment climate as regards reciprocal investments through provision of additional guarantees to investors from Kazakhstan and Romania.
