Recruitment for national population census is on

ASTANA. January 13. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ The Regional Department of Statistics together with the executive bodies of the regions hold recruitment for the national population census. Press secretary of Kazakhstan Statistics Agency Dinara Zhandayeva has informed about it today at a briefing, Kazinform correspondent reports.

According to the press secretary, from January 5, 2009 1674 managers of census departments have already been hired in all regions. Their labor compensation amounts to KZT 26 680 and they will work till April 10, 2009. In addition, it is planned to hire head counters from February 16. The total number of census workers in Kazakhstan amounts to 74 164 people in 2009. The Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan will also start training of hired people on January 14. As the press secretary informed, a demonstrative training course of the census department managers in the number of 160 people will take place in Almaty city on January 16 with the participation of 60 trainers.
