Red Cross reps and Kazakh military discuss peacemaking in Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Almaty training center "Partnership for Peace" under the Military Institute of Land Forces has held a meeting of Kazakhstani military with foreign colleagues on the issues of peacekeeping.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the Kazakh military cooperation with experts in the field of peacekeeping of the armed forces of Great Britain and the United States, are developing a special course called "Legal aspects of UN peacekeeping operations", which will later be used in the preparation of peacekeeping forces of the armed forces of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross: Pierre Emanul Dyukrue, Sergei Sayapin and Zarifa Mukhitdinova. The round table discussed the issues of the rule of law in the course of peacekeeping operations.
