Region's economy strengthens, residents' welfare increases - Nazarbayev

SHYMKENT. March 11. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ Within a working trip to South Kazakhstan region President Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a briefing for journalists.

Six innovative enterprises amounting to KZT 67 bln will be launched this year. It will allow to create about one thousand workplaces.

"I have initiated new important business - the program of the People's IPO. It is aimed at welfare of ordinary Kazakhstanis. Each would have the chance to become a stockholder of large promising companies of Kazakhstan and receive their share of profit in the future," the Head of State emphasized.

He also stressed that today our society has a strategy of future development. "It is the most important unifying idea. The state's plans coincide with wishes of all Kazakhstanis. The people's welfare grows together with the increase in economy. Following results of the working trip to South Kazakhstan region I can definitely say that the region's economy strengthens, the residents' welfare increases," N.Nazarbayev resumed.
