Regional governors report to President on socio-economic situation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a meeting with the regional governors, the press service of Akorda reports.

During the meeting, regional Akims informed the President about their activity and the socio-economic situation. Head of State has identified a number of urgent tasks needed to be addressed at the regional level. In particular, Nursultan Nazarbayev has given an instruction to carry out comprehensive preparation for harvest and heating season. In addition, Kazakh President noted the need to organize the Senate elections at the appropriate level. Special attention was paid to the preparations for the forthcoming Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan which will be held in Atyrau.
