Regional office of republican commission on control over elections began functioning in Aktobe

AKTOBE. KAZINFORM - A regional office of the republican commission on control of the elections began its work in Aktobe region. Doctor of Economic Sciences Khalel Kussainov heads the office.

The members of the commission that include scientists, heads of non-governmental organizations, mass media representatives held a briefing and answered the questions about the presidential elections in Kazakhstan.

K. Kussainov noted that the commission would control and monitor the observance of the legislation by the election headquarters of the candidates, candidates themselves, election commissions and by the mass media.

He also informed that a lot of volunteers would be involved in the monitoring process. They will be taught the basics of the election campaigns.
