Regions with highest volume of construction named in Kazakhstan

Construction volume growth was reported in Kazakhstan in 2023, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov said at the Government’s meeting on Wednesday, Kazinform News Agency reports.

“Volume of construction works saw a 12.5% growth [in the country]. Positive dynamics has been recorded in 18 regions of the country with the highest volume of construction and installation works in Mangistau, West Kazakhstan, Zhetysu and Abai regions,” Minister Kuantyrov said at the meeting.

According to him, a total of 13.3 million square meters of housing has been commissioned in January-October 2023, which 14% more than in the analogous period.

The highest volume of residential housing commissioned has been observed in Ulytau and Zhetysu regions as well as the cities of Astana and Almaty.
