Representatives of European mass media familiarize with Kazakhstan

ASTANA. November 9. KAZINFORM /Kenzhebolat Zholdybay/ On the threshold of the OSCE Summit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan organized a tour for representatives of the European mass media in order to familiarize them with the accomplishments of the country. Among the guests there are so prominent names as the French newspaper Le Figaro, German daily newspaper Berliner Zeitung, weekly newspaper New Europe, Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, Italian daily newspaper IL Foglio Quotidiano, the agency KathPress, Radio Vatican and Radio Omega.

Journalists of the mentioned above mass media met with OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev, Chairman of the National Welfare Fund 'Samruk-Kazyna' Kairat Kelimbetov and Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan Eraly Tugzhanov.

They also have held a meeting with members of the 'Editors' club' where the sides had an opinion exchange on relevant issues. The guests were provided full information about mass media in our country.

During the meeting the necessity to establish contacts for information exchange was emphasized.
