Representatives of Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation visits Ustkamenogorsk

USTKAMENOGORSK. February 13. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ Representatives of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation paid three-day visit to Ustkamenogorsk, Kazinform reports.

Meeting of regional authorized representative for Central Asia, Kazakhstan and South Caucasus Gregor Ryssel with head of the representation of the Foundation in Kazakhstan Aliya Musina was held in the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University. Within the visit the reps of the Foundation met with the Rector of the University, held presentation of SUR PLACE program on conferment of scholarship for young scientists and students of the University. Students and educators of the University had an opportunity to listen to the lecture of Doctor Gregor Ryssel on the problems of the world financial crisis. The main direction of the Foundation?s activity is strengthening partnership between Germany and our country in the spheres of policy, economy, education, culture. The cooperation gains special importance this year as long as 2009 is the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany.
