Reps of Majilis, "Nur Otan" and Human Rights Commission to visit Astana pre-trial detention center

ASTANA. March 3. KAZINFORM /Galimzhan Khassenov/ Representatives of the Majilis of the RK Parliament, ?Nur Otan? National Democratic Party and Human Rights Commission are to visit capital?s pre-trial detention center, Kazinform reports.

The event is organized within Kazakhstan?s future chairmanship in the OSCE and aims at control over observance of the norms and appropriate conditions provided for the detainees. In the course of the visit Majilis Deputy Saginbek Tursunov, first Deputy Chairman of ?Nur Otan? Darkhan Kaletayev and Secretary of the human rights Commission Tastemir Abishev will get familiarized themselves with the utility and living conditions of the detainees. The guests will survey cells, bath-laundry complex and food bloc of the facility.
