Reps of ?Microsoft? Corp presented project on support of KZ Government?s anti-crisis plan

ASTANA. January 27. KAZINFORM Minister of Industry and Trade Vladimir Shkolnik has received representatives of ?Microsoft? Corporation: Senior Vice President Orlando Ayala and Director General of ?Microsoft Kazakhstan? Gunter Dam today, Kazinform refers to the Ministry?s press service.

The reps of the company presented their project on support of the Government?s anti-recessionary plan that includes three main directions. The first one is optimization of IT infrastructure of 15 large and middle state enterprises. Implementation of this project will allow to reduce expenditures and improve efficiency of the work and business-productivity. The second direction provides for implementation of electronic document circulation system, centralized data banks in medical facilities and means of safe information exchange in healthcare and education spheres. And the last one is development of innovations and increase of competitiveness. In turn, Minister Shkolnik informed the guests of recently established ?Alatau IT City Management? Information-Technological Park. He also charged ?Kazakhstan Contract Agency? JSC and the Department for Innovation and Investment policy of the Ministry to discuss eligibility of the projects of ??Microsoft Corporation, work out certain plans and submit them for consideration.
