Republican boxing tournament dedicated to Olympic champion Serik Sapiyev kicks off in Karaganda

KARAGANDA. November 11. KAZINFORM - On November 11-16 Karaganda is holding the Republican boxing tournament dedicated to the champion of XXX Summer Olympic Games, Honored Master of Sports of Kazakhstan Serik Sapiyev, the press service of the regional department of physical culture and sports informs.

The competition is being held at the Sapiyev Boxing Center.

"The tournament is being attended by athletes from the cities and regions of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The competitions is being carried out in 14 weight categories", the report says.

For the first time junior boxing tournament dedicated to Sapiev was carried out last year at regional level.
