Residents' deposits in banks rose by 3% in Sep - Marchenko

ALMATY.  November 11. KAZINFORM  /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ In September the volume of the residents' deposits in banks rose by 3% and made KZT 6 445.3 bln, Chief Banker of the country Grigory Marchenko has informed at a special press conference in Almaty today.

Legal bodies' deposits rose by 4.1% and made KZT 4 608.4 blm while individuals' deposits grew by 0.3% and made KZT 1 836.9 bln.

In September the volume of deposits in foreign currency rose by 7.8% (made KZT 3 214.2 bln) and lowered by 1.4% in national currency (made KZT 3 231.1 bln). As a result the ratio of tenge deposits lowered and made 50.1%.
