Residents of Ust-Kamenogorsk proposed to support «Immortal regiment» campaign

UST-KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM - Representatives of non-governmental organization "Generation" proposed governor of East Kazakhstan region Temirbek Kasymzhanov to support the idea of organizing the campaign called "Immortal regiment" dedicated to the 7th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

"Soon we will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. All countries that fought in that war have campaign "Immortal regiment", and we would like to ask to render support and initiate this campaign as well, so people could march with the pictures of their families who lost lives in that war," head of the NGO Marina Solovyeva said. The initiative was approved by the governor.
