Results of essay competition dated to 70th anniversary of Great Victory to be announced mid April
"This year the world celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Second World War and we believe it is very important to tell Kazakhstani schoolchildren about the heroic deeds of the previous generation," Chairman of the Nationwide movement "Kazakhstan-2050" Danat Zhumin said at a Monday press conference. The competition kicked off on 5 February 2015. Students from Grades 5-8 and 9-11 submitted their essays until 5 March 2015. Three best essays will be chosen in each region of Kazakhstan. The winners will receive cash prices and thank-you letters. Authors of the best essays will be awarded with diplomas from the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.
The competition was co-organized by Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund and the Ministry of Education and Science.
