Results of OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Program discussed in Astana

ASTANA. December 20. KAZINFORM The management committee of the Central Asia Competitiveness Initiative held a session focused on results of implementation of the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Program in Astana.

The meeting participants discussed the results of 2012. In particular, the main results of implementation of projects on improvement of the regional competitiveness and public service reforming in Kazakhstan were addressed at the session.  

The OECD experts presented specific recommendations on improvement of the efficiency of some ministries and competitiveness of three pilot regions participated in the projects. Besides, the action plan of the main events for 2013 was approved.

Launched in November 2008, the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Program aims to help create a sound business climate for investment, enhance productivity, support entrepreneurship, develop the private sector.
