Return of KazTransGaz-Tbilisi to Kazakh side to be possibly postponed
BAKU. KAZINFORM - KazTransGaz-Tbilisi gas distribution company's return to the Kazakh side will be possible postponed, Deputy Minister of Energy of Georgia Miriam Valishvili informed.
"The term of power of Georgian commission controlling the company expires on April 1, but there is a great possibility that it will be extended. The issue will be on the agenda by April 1," M. Valishvili said.
According to her, the return of the company to the Kazakh side will be possible if the sides sign an agreement on repayment of the debt of the company to the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
"The talks on this issue continue. And bilateral meetings between the representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and Kazakhstan were held in 2015. One of the important agreements has not been signed yet. It hardly possible the issue will be settled by April 1," M. Valishvili told.
