Review Conference showed openness in work with NGOs: OSCE Sec Gen
ASTANA. November 28. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The OSCE Review conference showed openness in work with NGOs which is a sign of maturity of Kazakhstan's presidency. Secretary General of the Organization Marc Perrin de Brichambaut made it public at the briefing for journalists on Sunday.
"We should compliment the liberality of Kazakhstan as the OSCE presiding state providing full participation of NGOs and other civil sector institutions in the work of the Review Conference and the OSCE activity", M.de Brichambaut noted.
"I would also like to say that we are open for work with NGOs. 140 non-governmental organizations took part in this Review Conference as well as in all segments of the Conference in Warsaw, Vienna and Astana", he said.
The Secretary General also said that the participants of the Conference managed to do a large amount of preparatory work in a short period of time.
