RIA Novosti launches Best Media Project competition within the Astana FEAM

TANA. November 22. KAZINFORM Russian News and Information Agency RIA Novosti and MIR TV channel have launched the Best Media Project competition within the Forum of European and Asian Media (FEAM), which is being held on November 20-22 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

"RIA Novosti news agency and the MIR TV channel propose to establish a competition The Best Media Project of FEAM-2012 in order to boost the creation of the information and analytical media projects on the basis of new and traditional technology that are dedicated to the economic and political integration of the ex-Soviet states," the competition's funding document reads.

Accoridng to RIA Novosti, the Forum, funded by the Federal Agency of Mass Communication, has gathered over 250 media executives, leading journalists, politicians, bloggers and media experts from a dozen European and Asian countries.
