Riding a solar bike from Brussels to Astana: An exciting challenge for young Belgian engineer
As G. Bruyr told Kazakhstani journalists, his 10 000km trip covers 19 countries and that he plans to reach Astana on his solar bike in three months.
According to Guillaume, he chose Kazakhstan as his final destination, because he had always dreamt of seeing the Asian Steppe, the Aral Sea, Baikonur cosmodrome and the beautiful capital of Kazakhstan - Astana. As someone who is making a career in new technologies and sustainable energy, the Belgian engineer wants to see the Kazakh capital, the host city of the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017, under the topic of "Energy of the future".
Bruyr admits it took him over a year to construct the solar bike. It is expected that the young engineer from Belgium will visit Astana in early October on his wonder machine. Good luck, Guillaume!
