RK allocates KZT 25.5 bln to cardiology development: Healthcare Minister
ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The country has allocated KZT 25.5 bln to development of the Kazakh cardiology. Kazakh Minister of Healthcare Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev has announced it in the National Scientific Medical Center; Kazinform reports.
?Cardiology is a priority direction, which Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev defined. It is a question of opening of cardiac surgery departments in every regional center. Kazakhstanis can be sure, that cardiac surgery treatment will be available to all?, Z.Doskaliyev said.
At present 9 cardiac surgery departments function in the regions.
In the first quarter of 2009 similar departments will open in Almaty and West Kazakhstan oblasts, in December ? in Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Mangystau oblasts.
