RK Ambassador called Kazakh Diaspora to support People?s Assembly of Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK. January 23. KAZINFORM /Vladimir Dobrovolskiy/ As earlier reported, Kazakh Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Ospanov met yesterday with Acting Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan Zhanyl Tumenbayeva in the House of Friendship, Kazinform reports.

Current state and perspective directions of bilateral cooperation in inter-ethnic relations were discussed. As is known, both Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan give special attention to this issue. The parties agreed on assistance in organization of exchange of delegations between the Assemblies of the Peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In her turn, Zh. Tumenbayeva told about the prospects of the Assembly?s work on consolidation of all nations living in Kyrgyzstan. She pointed out necessity of activation of work of national-cultural centers including ?Otan? public association of the Kazakhs. The Kazakh Diplomat expressed support to this initiative and noted his readiness to help the Diaspora. Besides, B. Ospanov had an informal meeting with the members of ?Otan? association at which he called them to support undertakings of the People?s Assembly of Kyrgyzstan directed on strengthening the Kyrgyz society.
