RK Ambassador, President of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group meet

ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Japan Akylbek Kamaldinov has held a meeting with President of ?Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group? Teisuke Kitayama. Within the discussion issues on activation of bilateral cooperation in financial, investment and other spheres were discussed; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA?s press service.

Within the meeting the Japanese side was acquainted with results of social-economic development of Kazakhstan and measures on supporting sustainable growth of economy. Talking about purposes and tasks of National Welfare Fund ?SamrukKazyna?, the Kazakh Ambassador introduced a list of breakthrough infrastructural and priority investment projects, which are elaborated by the Fund. Highly estimating efforts of the Kazakh Government on creation of favorable conditions for investment activity, Teisuke Kitayama expressed a readiness to consider an opportunity of financing of these projects on basis of the experience and ?Memorandum of plans on development of further cooperation?, which was signed by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and ?Sumitomo-Mitsui Banking Corporation?.
