RK Ambassador proposed to hold Days of Tajik Culture in Kazakhstan in 2010
The Minister of Culture of Tajikistan highly spoke of the level of bilateral relations between two countries. Having noted centuries-long friendship between our nations and friendly relations between Kazakh and Tajik leaders, M. Asrori expressed support to the idea of holding the Days of Tajik Culture in Kazakhstan and proposed to consider staging Ruslan and Sukhrob play in Kazakhstan with the participation of Tajik actors. In order to stimulate further bilateral interaction ministries of culture of both countries were proposed to develop a joint action plan on cultural-humanitarian projects implementation.
In the course of the meeting the parties focused on bilateral cooperation in culture and art. In particular, the Kazakh diplomat noted that the existing regulatory-legal base allowed implementing such bilateral projects like staging plays by Kazakh playwright Dulat Isabekov Transit passenger in Dushanbe and Tajik playwright Tohir Mamadrizoev Love of Peri in Kyzylorda as well study of Tajik students at the Kazakh universities.
The Ambassador also briefed about Kazakhstan's intentions and objectives within its forthcoming chairmanship in the OSCE.
