RK Ambassador to Japan meets President of Mitsubishi Corp

ASTANA. April 4. KAZINFORM Yesterday in Tokyo Kazakhstan Ambassador to Japan Akylbek Kamaldinov held a meeting with President of Mitsubishi Corporation Yorihiko Kojima for discussing the issues of activating bilateral investment and trade-economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Japan, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh MFA.

The Ambassador informed Yorihiko Kojima of the anti-crisis measures launched by the Kazakhstan Government and the tasks set by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in his annual Address to the Nation on supporting the different sectors of economy, in particular small and medium businesses. The parties focused on further development of bilateral cooperation in finances, investments, transfer of technologies and the prospects of attraction of Japanese capital to the development of infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan. Y. Kojima highly appraised the Kazakh Government?s efforts on adoption of efficient anti-crisis measures directed on provision of favorable investment conditions for the activity of foreign companies in Kazakhstan and expressed hope for continuation of mutually beneficial partnership. In this view the parties discussed the issue of arrangement of a visit of Mr. Kojima to Kazakhstan.
