RK Consulate General opened in Iran

GORGAN. February 19. KAZINFORM Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Iran Yerik Utembayev has participated in official opening of the RK Consulate General in city Gorgan of Golestan province of Iran, Kazinform reports.

According to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy, governor of the province Y. Mahmoudzadeh and his deputies, mayor of Gorgan, heads of the state organization on fishery, commerce and industry chamber and others were invited to the event. In his speech Y. Utembayev noted importance of such event having highlighted that Kazakhstan was the first foreign country that had opened its official representation in this province. ?Opening of the Consulate General should strengthen cooperation between our countries on the Caspian sea as well as expand traditional fields of interaction. The main objective of the consulate?s work will become organization of the Kazakh-Iranian partnership in various directions through efficient usage of transport and investment potential of the province?, the Kazakh Diplomat said. The guests of the event also enjoyed a concert organized by the representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora living in the province.
