Road accident claims life of a woman in Almaty rgn

TARAZ. March 11. KAZINFORM A woman was killed in a road accident on motorway in Zhambyl region, the local police said.

"The accident occurred on 545 km of Almaty-Tashkent motorway in Zhambyl region this weekend. The Volkswagen driver failed to control the car properly and it turned turtle," the police statement says.

As a result of the crash, the female passenger died of injuries at the scene.

An investigation has been initiated.
