Round table dedicated to Constitution Day held in Astana
Heads of Astana Public Service Centers, schools and representatives of non-governmental organizations took part in the event. "Due to the Principal Law Kazakhstan reached certain results. We became a politically stable state, raised our economy and protected our civil rights", - Mayor of 'Almaty' district of Astana city Sapar Akhmetov said.
Public prosecutor of 'Almaty' district of Astana city Tleu Zhangarashev pointed out the amendments in the Constitution concerning court: "We became the witnesses of the historical event in socio-political development of the country when amendments were put into the Constitution on May, 21, 2007", - he said.
He noted that "Strict adherence to the Constitution is the basis for the state development as well as civil accord in society. To live and act according to the norms of the Constitution is the highest school of democracy".
