Ruler of Ajman emirate expresses interest in developing ties with Kazakhstan

According to the Kazakh diplomat, Kazakhstan and Ajman have good prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism, industry, bilateral investment and agriculture. In particular, the emirate has the free economic zone "Ajman Free Zone" which plays an active role in the expansion of bilateral partnership, attracting and investing capital in Kazakhstan. A.Issagaliyev noted that in November last year Ajman hosted the Kazakh-UAE business forum with participation of Deputy Mayors of five regions of Kazakhstan, and more than 100 business people of the two countries. In turn, Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi also expressed readiness to promote relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this context, the Consul General of Kazakhstan briefed Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi on new trade and economic prospects in connection with the launching of the new route of the international railroad "Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran" which allows local entrepreneurs to reduce time of goods delivery to the Persian Gulf and the cost of transportation. In addition, A.Issagaliyev invited Emirati investors to actively partake in the implementation of major investment projects under the new economic development program "Nurly Zhol".
