Russia appreciates Kazakhstan's activity in CSTO

MOSCOW. May 15. KAZINFORM  "Collective Rapid Reaction Force creation  is an important stage in the Collective Security Treaty Organization's development,"  Russia's  permanent  representative to the CSTO Igor Lyakin- Frolov said in an interview to Kazakh journalists.

According to him, a great work on turning military - political union of separate states to "a real multifunctional organization providing security" has been done over 20 years of the CSTO existence.

 "The Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CRRF) is an important stage in the CSTO's development. They become a real force potential which may be used in settlement of crisis situations on the CSTO territory," I. Lyakin-Frolov mentioned.

Kazakhstan being one of the most active CSTO member states contributes to the regional cooperation development.  A lot has been done in particular under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan this year.
