Russia emergency jet evacuates 60 Russian, 10 Kazakhstan, CIS citizens from Syria
MOSCOW. KAZINFORM A Russian emergency airplane Ilyushin Il-76 which had brought relief supplies to Syria has taken 60 citizens who wanted to leave the country on the way back to Moscow, a senior official of the national centre for management in emergency situations said.
The airplane Il-76 has landed at Moscow airport Domodedovo. "Forty-two Russians, ten citizens from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ukraine and eight Syrian citizens came to Moscow," deputy chief of the Ministry of Emergency Situations national centre of management in emergency situations Oleg Voronov said. Rescuers, psychologists and emergency medics were giving all aid to passengers, including 17 children, in the flight, ITAR-TASS reports.
