Russia ready to supply poultry meat to Kazakhstan
ASTANA. March 9. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Director General of the Russian Poultry Union (RPU) Galina Bobyleva suggested the Kazakh side signing an agreement of cooperation during a Wednesday video conference.
According to Bobyleva, Russia's poultry sector is developing dynamically and ready to supply a wide range of products to Kazakhstan.
"From year to year we have steadily increased the poultry products output. I think that by 2012 we will abandon completely the import of poultry meat. Today we can export 20-30 thousand tons of poultry meat," she noted.
The Director General expressed confidence that Kazakhstan and Russia have good prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation in poultry meat supplies.
