Russia’s population reduces over 2010 by 48,000 people
MOSCOW. March 29. KAZINFORM The strength of the Russian population over 2010 reduced by 48,300 people or by 0.03 percent and at January 1, 2011, amounted to 142.914 million people, the Russian State Statistics Agency (Rosstat) reports with account of the preliminary results of the All-Russia census of the population of 2010. As of the beginning of 2011, the urban population was equal to 105.425 million people and the urban population - 37.489 people.
