Russia to assist partners in WTO accession

MOSCOW. December 20. KAZINFORM Russia will do its best to help its partners in the Eurasian Economic Union to enter the World Trade Organization. President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev made the relevant statement after the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the EurAsEC Interstate Council held at the level of the heads of state in Moscow on 19 December; Kazinform cites BelTA.

According to Dmitry Medvedev, Russia intends to provide assistance taking into account its own complicated experience of joining the World Trade Organization.

The President of Russia reminded that in line with the interstate treaty that had been signed earlier the sides are ready for full-fledged operation of the Customs Union in conditions when a member state is a member of other international trade organizations, in particular, the WTO.
