Russian citizen suspected of murder detained in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM A 41-year-old Russian citizen suspected of murder since 1997 was detained in the Almaty region, the Almaty regional department of internal affairs reports.

The police detained the suspect in Boralday village.

According to the Russian Federation police, the detainee is the main suspect of murder committed in the Orenburg region.

The detained man is kept under arrest at the Ili district police. His extradition to Russia is being discussed. Russian authorities were informed of his detention.
