Russian government to set minimum retail price for vodka
MOSCOW. November 20. KAZINFORM The Russian government's commission on regulation of the alcohol market has approved a minimum retail price of vodka, Igor Chuyan, head of the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
The minimum price for vodka is expected to be set at 89 rubles for 0.5 liters, Chuyan said.
Russian president Dmitry Medvedev tasked the government in September to determine a minimum retail price for vodka, Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com
