Russian, Kazakh specialists to discuss coop in space sphere

The sides discussed the issues of creation of an international ground-based space center of geodynamic and environmental monitoring of hydrocarbon deposits in the Caspian Sea basin, organization of Russian-Kazakh space debris monitoring service, cooperation in the sphere of scientific research and others.

Chairman of KazKosmos JSC Talgat Mussabayev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russia Federation to Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov are expected to hold a briefing for journalists ahead of the roundtable.

The representatives of the Russian embassy in Kazakhstan, Eurasian development Bank, Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Federal Space Agency RosKosmos and National Space Agency of Kazakhstan KazKosmos will take part in the event.
