Russian man arrested for smuggling 1 ton of alcohol from Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A Russian man was arrested for allegedly importing spirits across the Kazakh-Russian border, the press service of the frontier service reports.

The citizen of the Russian Federation, 59, tried to smuggle 1 ton of alcohol in his truck from Kazakhstan to his home country. He was caught by the Aktobe border detachment with the quantity of alcohol that included 800 liters of vodka, 30 liters of wine and more than 200 liters of cognac. An investigation has been launched.
