Russian plane makes emergency landing in Astana
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Russian plane has made an emergency landing at Astana International Airport, the press center of the airport informs.
"February 25, 2014 at 11:49 p.m. TU - 134 passenger plane «CenterSouth» Airline (Russia), enroute Karaganda - Perm made an emergency landing at the international airport of Astana because of engine failure. 31 passengers ("Molot" hockey team) and 12 crew members were onboard. No one was killed or injured.
After the emergency landing the engineering service started troubleshooting to determine the cause of the engine failure. On February 26 passengers from TU - 134 departed to Moscow by "Air Astana" regular flight.
