Russian President Putin to pay state visit to Kazakhstan
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on November 27, 2024, upon the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Akorda reports.
High-level talks are expected as part of the visit. Both presidents are to join the 20th Kazakhstan-Russia Cross Border Cooperation Forum via videoconferencing.
On November 28, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is believed to chair a regular meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council, which is set to discuss the pressing issues of regional and international security.
Following the meeting, a number of documents are set to be adopted.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister – Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu noted that the Russian President’s state visit is of great importance for deepening multifaceted partnership between the countries.
