Russian Progress to dump space waste into Pacific
MOSCOW. April 28. KAZINFORM The Russian Progress cargo spacecraft carrying over a ton of waste from the International Space Station will splash down in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday, according to Itar-Tass.
Russian Mission Control Center said most of the spacecraft will burn down in the dense layers of the atmosphere however the remaining debris will splash down at approximately 18:45 hours Moscow time in a specifically designated "burial site" far from shipping routes.
