?We shall examine all questions which are now vital for our countries: economic, political and regional,? he said. ?There are always quite a number of problems, and we should think how to work in future,? Medvedev noted. ?We shall speak of economic projects, how to move forward; we should hold mutual consultations on regional affairs,? he continued. Medvedev expressed hope that the current working visit would help to pave good grounds for Rakhmon?s state visit to Russia this year. The Tajik president agreed with the proposal to discuss bilateral issues. ?We shall speak of economic cooperation, progress in implementing our understandings, reached during your visit to Dushanbe and subsequent meetings,? Rakhmon noted; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass. The Tajik head noted that despite the crisis, relations between the two countries are developing. ?Trade topped one billion US dollars, which is a good indicator,? Rakhmon noted. ?This shows that we have great reserves for cooperation in the economy, the military-technical sphere and hydropower industry,? stressed the Tajik leader.
