Russia’s 76 regions established direct partnership ties with Kazakh regions
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said today that 76 regions of Russia established direct partnership ties with Kazakhstani regions, Kazinform Agency reports.
He told the Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum themed ‘Agriculture is the basis for strong economy’ that representatives of more than 30 regions of the two nations arrived in Kostanay region. Among those attending are representatives of state bodies, ministries, departments, businesses, and scientific circles.
The President said that 76 regions of Russia established direct partnership ties with Kazakhstani regions. This year heads of Yakutia, Astrakhan, and Chelyabinsk regions arrived in Kazakhstan, and Kazakh delegations took part in the Krasnoyarsk economic forum and events dated to the 100th anniversary of Buryatia.
