Novosibirsk region set to open new productions in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan and Russia signed a package of commercial agreements at the 20th Forum of Interregional Cooperation held on November 27 in Bashkortostan, Kazinform News Agency cites Jibek Joly TV Channel.
The governor of Pavlodar region and the governor of Novosibirsk region of Russia signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation in entrepreneurship, the agro-industrial complex, education and culture.
Governor of the Pavlodar region, Assain Baikhanov, said the region plans further integration of economic ties, including opening joint enterprises and Novosibirsk companies in Kazakhstan in the machine building and energy sectors.
Besides, the regions are set to develop cultural ties. Besides, an arts and crafts exhibition was held as part of the forum featuring traditional dresses, household items, and musical instruments of Bashkortostan. In addition, a gastro festival provided a chance to get acquainted with local products and the investment potential of Bashkortostan and Russia at large and establish new business ties.
