Rybakina retains 5th line in updated WTA ranking

The Women’s Tennis Association has published an updated ranking of single and double players, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus, Iga Swiatek from Poland and Cori Gauff from the U.S. top the ranking.

Kazakhstan’s No 1 Elena Rybakina retained her fifth position.

Yulia Putintseva climbed two positions up and stands now 66^th.

As for doubles players, Belgian Elise Mertens stands first, U.S. player Storm Hunter is second and Czech player Katerzina Siniiakova is third.

Kazakhstan’s No 1 in doubles Anna Danilina holds her 32^nd spot. Rybakina moved up by one line and is now 115^th. Zhibek Kulambayeva is 157^th after losing three spots.
