Rybakina retains world no.4 spot despite Wimbledon defeat

Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan retains her world no. 4 title according to the updated WTA Singles Ranking following the 2024 Wimbledon, Sports.kz reports.

Iga Swiatek of Poland tops the ranking. Coming in second is American Coco Gauff. Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka sits at the third spot of the WTA Singles Ranking.

Rybakina of Kazakhstan retained her world no.4 title despite being unexpectedly defeated by Czech Barbora Krejčíková in the 2024 Wimbledon semifinal.

Another Kazakhstani Yulia Putintseva climbed six spots up to no.29 spot of the ranking. Putintseva beat world no.1 Iga Świątek in the third round of 2024 Wimbledon.

Erin Routliffe of New Zealand, Kateřina Siniaková of the Czech Republic and Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada are in the top 3 of the WTA Doubles Rankings.

Kazakhstani doubles top seed Anna Danilina is currently placed in the 50th spot of the WTA Doubles Ranking. Zhibek Kulambayeva and Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan are ranked 140th and 300th, respectively.
