Rybakina wins WTA Finals match

Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina (ranked 4th in WTA) held her second match at the WTA Finals in Cancun, Mexico, Kazinform News Agency reports via Sports.kz.

Rybakina retained her chances of advancing out of the Bacalar Group after defeating Maria Sakkari from Greece with the score of 6:0, 6:7 (4), 7:6 in the second match.

In another second tour match, Jessica Pegula beat world no 1 Aryna Sabalenka – 6:4, 6:3 and made it to the tournament semifinals ahead of schedule.

The match between Rybakina and Sabalenka will be held on the night of November 3.

Alexander Bublik stormed into the third round of the Rolex Paris Masters 2023! He defeated the Chilean Nicolas Jarry in two tie-breaks - 7:6 (3), 7:6 (3). To reach the quarterfinals, Bublik will have to play vs the winner of the match between Russian Daniil Medvedev and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.
