S Kazakhstan reports another Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever case
SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM A new case of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) was registered at the Ordabasy district, in South Kazakhstan. A 14-year-old teen infested by the tick was taken to hospital. His serum tests were found to be positive for CCHF.
It is the second case revealed this month. Two weeks ago a 27-year-old man was also admitted to hospital following the infected tick bite.
